Summer Analyst

I applied to the Citi Early ID program for the NY IBD FIG track, eventually got a first round phone screen which consisted of two phone calls: one essentially purely technical (accounting 3 statements; walk me through DCF; drilled down into specifics about how to calculate gordon growth, difference between gordon growth model and terminal value multiples, assumptions in each; WACC and how to calculate cost of equity, what is equity risk premium; calculating free cash flow to firm and free cash flow to equity, which discount rate to use for either. Second phone screen was some basic technicals and mostly behavioral and market-based questions: tell me about yourself, why FIG, tell me about a recent deal -- pretty boiler plate.

Super day was 4 rounds: one with a director, an associate, an MD, and an analyst. The analyst and associate ones were more technical, almost entirely, and the more senior interviews were behavioral. Heard back later that night about super day offer.
