Summer Associate

The MBA Investment Banking process is very comprehensive. Most banks show up on campus as soon as people start their first quarter / semester, and they start the courtship process (informational sessions, dinners, cocktails, office visits). Closer to December, banks will start hosting invite-only events to signal who will get invited to interview. Then an actual interview (Close-list) is created and they start interviewing on Campus late January. Most people (if successful) will have multiple interviews in a week and will walk away with a couple offers, at which point they will have to decided. Some banks host Sell-days, which involve flying to their offices and meeting with groups.
