Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I was working at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Treasury Consultant, and Deloitte was poaching talent from all over and since I knew that my Cash Management, Derivatives and Forex knowledge was required, eventually I got the call. There was a phone interview with HR, which led to a one on one interview with the Manager in charge. This lasted over an hour, and it was mostly technical. My guess is that, if it was up to that Manager, he would have hired me on the spot. About three weeks laters, they sat to to do written test, personality and intelligence I presume, with a bunch of other candidates in a meeting room. After that and without previous knowledge, a Partner and a Sr. Manager begin to grill me on technical issues, for 10 minutes, having outlasted those questions, the next 15 to 20 minutes were probably just chatting to determine fit. About a week later I receive a call telling me they wanted me, and less than a month before the offer arrived. It was a long couple of weeks.
