Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The Deloitte hiring process for military veterans generally funnels through a few points of entry. I managed to gain entry at Deloitte by attending a veterans specific informational session in which I met with several practitioners and senior members of the firm. The informational session started as a typical briefing, then led to Q&A and concluded with a mixer.
During the mixer I hit it off with one of the managers who took interest in ensuring that I met the right people to get an interview at Deloitte. Two days later the junior military officer recruiter from Deloitte reached out to me via email and invited me to the CORE Leadership program which will occur 13-15 November. While COREs mission is to help veterans transition into the private sector, the recruiter told me to be prepared to interview at CORE for a position in S&O with Deloitte.
