Submitted a résumé online and was contacted by a recruiter. We discussed career goals, level and service line alignment. As an experienced hire candidate (post-MBA), you are directly hired into a practice, vs. campus hires who join general management. Level was also a key topic. Deloitte doesn't like to hire in above the senior consultant level unless you have significant and recent consulting experience. I also had to select my preferred office. That office decides if they want to interview you.

After the initial hr screen, I had a phone interview with one of the partners in my service line, but not my target office. Scheduled for 1 hr, after 10 minutes, she said, " I think you're great" and we proceeded to chat about random topics and firm culture for the rest of the hour.

I went in the office for in-person interviews with two other partners in my service line. One was a typical case study, the other was more a fit interview. Quick follow-up with hr and I was done. Maybe 2.5 hours in total.

One downside is that there was no opportunity to meet with other practitioners during the process. I didn't ask, but that didn't seem to be the standard process.
