1 on 1 Interview
Skills Test
Background Check
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I started the interview application from my school's career service. First round had two interviews, each 30 minutes, one behavior and one tech. The atmosphere was good, no strange questions, typical as why PC, and lots of teamwork & leadership-related questions. Tech included budget forecasting and Excel questions, so you'd better make sure that you know this well. Second round also had two interviewers, each 45 minutes, on-site, one behavior and one case. Behavior was kinda same questions as the first one, but a lot time you need to ask the recruiter questions. I might not do very well at this case, since I didn't expect he behaved like that. Case interview was also very easy. Questions like, how you manage your travel fee, and report the increase to your customer. The interviewers were nice, but never think to much. They won't give you an offer, just because they smiled to you. The work air is fine, not very professional. Collegues were nice, but kinda un-skilled. One of the man, who did a presentation, even stopped and knew nothing to talk about during his speech. That made me feel not very good. And others, most of them did not seem very satisfied with their job functions, a bit shy. I met 11 people there, and none of them convinced me that they are very professional at what they are doing, not even the manager. You could ask them the question like "Why you stayed in Deloitte for such a long career? What makes you feel good about this job?". Trust me, these kind of old school, nonsense questions are what they want, and they have already been asked same type of questions for years and are ready to throw things out from their mouth. In conclusion, big name, big office, but kinda small future. If you are the person who just want to have a stable-pay job, definitely go for it.
