Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Internal transfer program within the firm from another service line. Very long interview process, lots of waiting, and apparently very competitive rounds. There was a screening call with HR, behavioral interview with VPs, technical interview with SVPs, and fit interview with MD. I used the WSO IB Interview Prep Course to prepare for the technical case which I did quite well in given the time constraint. Advice for interview candidates is keep constant communication throughout the interview process to remain committed, prepare thoroughly for each process as you will not know what they can throw at you - they want to find candidates that stand out, and work on other applications in the process to not limit your opportunities.
