Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I applied and was accepted to an on-campus interview on October. I interviewed for 30 minutes with an Alumni who was a Senior Manager in the Tax Department. After I passed the initial interview I got a call back for an interview scheduled in November. This took place on-site at the San Francisco office. There was a social the night before the interview where the recruits got to talk with employees who ranged from Associates to Senior Managers. It wasn't a sit down dinner, so there wasn't enough food or much time to eat. The event lasted about 2 hrs or so. The next day began with all the recruits checking in and passing security, getting their badges and going into this conference room area where we were given a presentation about the company and the benefits, and there was also a partner who spoke to us about his experience with the company. Later we were split up into two groups for interviews and were assigned the people we who were going to interview us. While one group went to interview the other group did a Q&A with some of the staff. I interviewed with a Manager and a Director in the department I was being recruited for. The amount of interviewers varies from 2-3 usually. The other recruits who were interviewing for different departments either had 3 30 minute in person interviews or 2 in person interviews and 1 phone interview on-site. Throughout the day I had a "buddy" walk me to the different rooms where I would be interviewing and later took me out to lunch after the interview was over. My interviews just consisted of having a casual conversation with the Director or Manager. This was for a entry-level job so no technical questions were asked.
