Interview
First step is to apply online through the Deutsche Bank portal and then some online assignments (numerical, logical, behaviourial) need to be completed. If you pass the online assignments, there will be a call interview with an HR where your motivation and personality are tested. After that stage, the teams, that are interested in your profile can invite you to interview (you can get several). This is the final interview and there are technical and motivation questions.

For me, the HR interview was roughly 1.5 weeks after I completed the online tests. Then the HR said that I passed the interview on the same day, but I need to wait about two weeks, before a team invited me for an interview. Then the result is given few days after the final interview.

1 on 1 Interview
Interview
2 rounds of 1-on-1 interview with VP/Director level quant strategist. The 2 rounds will have identical behavioral questions, resume screening (focusing on projects), and different technical questions. One of the interviewers mainly focused on pseudo-code practices including pandas, dynamic programming, time complexity control, and SQL table merging. The other focused on derivative pricing, including topics like basic Greeks, Dupire's local volatility, Feynman-Kac, importance simulation, and variance reduction methods.
Interview Questions
The other questions are pretty textbook-like style so once you have learned the topics, they are not hard to answer. However, the use of importance sampling was pretty challenging for me at the time as I had not practically used them. The interviewer gave me a case on ruin probability to provide intuition as to why it helps and then asked me why we need to apply it to a digital down-and-in barrier option pricing with a simulation.

Interview
I applied online and heard back around a month later. In the first round, I had a 30 minute chat with a senior member of the firm with similar background to me. The interview had a mix of behavioral questions (classic ones, like tell me about yourself) and competency based questions (about the market, current events, past roles I've had, etc.). These were somewhat technical but classic S&T questions. Superday followed first round (about a week later) with a case study surrouding a loan origination and two one-on-one interviews with senior leaders - one interview about the case study in which I was grilled about debt financing and one more similar to the first round.
