My first stage of the hiring process for E&Y was at my university's career fair. If a candidate does not talk to them at the career fair, it is very difficult to obtain an interview. I also had to apply on our university's career services website and then was chosen for an on campus interview. The night before the interview I attended a pre interview dinner which gave you a chance to interact with your interviewers in a more relaxed environment while also getting free meal. The interview the next day consisted of 2 separate 30 minute 1 on 1 interviews and were fairly straight forward since they were all behavioral.

The next stage was the on site interviews which also had a pre interview night dinner at a swanky restaurant in downtown Clayton. I had a total of three interviews the following day with a manager, senior manger, and partner. The manger and partner were fairly informal and were more of a "get to know ya" interview with some light questions about my resume. The interview with the senior manager consisted of an attempt at a case interview. It was very dumbed down and you could tell the senior manager had better things to do with their time than prepare for this case interview.
