Going through the interview and hiring process for an Assurance Internship at EY was a comprehensive yet rewarding journey. Make sure you highlight your relevant experiences and qualifications.

After successfully passing the initial application stage, I encountered a series of assessments, including aptitude tests and a personality assessment. For the aptitude tests, I recommend dedicating time to practice and sharpen your numerical, verbal, and logical reasoning skills. Websites and books with sample tests can be incredibly helpful in preparing for these assessments.

For the personality assessment, be authentic in your responses. EY is looking for candidates who align with their values and culture, so it's essential to showcase your true self.

If you progress beyond the initial stages, you might be invited to an assessment center. Here, you'll participate in group exercises and case studies. Emphasize your teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Be proactive in contributing to the group's success while maintaining a collaborative approach.

The final interviews with EY professionals, including managers and partners, are crucial. Prepare thoroughly by reviewing your resume, understanding EY's core values, and practicing answers to common interview questions. Be ready to discuss your technical knowledge and experiences, especially as they relate to assurance.
