Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Had an on campus interview which I met with a manager at the firm. It was a half hour interview, standard walk me through you resume questions, why EY, why consulting, what can you bring to the table, etc. Round 2 was a 'super day' at the office in NYC. This consisted of a writing test to ensure that you were able to write in concise, articulate English about one of three topics. My topic was to explain a time that I benefited from mentoring and how I would seek out such experiences in the future. Next was two 'fit' interviews, where I spoke with more junior people about my experiences and was more of a half hour conversation. Third part was a case study with a partner, where I was asked to examine the potential acquisition of a community bank by a regional bank. The partner then asked me questions and to walk through my reasoning of my answers. Finally, the last interview was with another partner and was more of a fit interview, but they asked more pointed questions and tried to make me uncomfortable.
