General Interview Information
Interview Details
My first interview was technical and predictable.
1. What are three valuation methodologies?
2. How would you value a pre-revenue company?
3. Walk me through a DCF
4. How do you calculate WACC?
5. How do you get terminal value in gordon growth
There were 3 more consecutive interviews after that totaling 4 interviews across ~3.5 hours.
The following 3 interviews were non-technical. Very typical, situational interview, fit, etc. Everyone was super nice, I found that talking passionately about why I was interested in valuation (long speech that was both true and imo fairly compelling) managed to pull us off the pre-planned interview questions for just about every interview in the process, which I think is ideal.
