Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The recruiting process for the EY Advisory Internship was very similar to the audit recruiting. My school is very much a target for the Big 4 firms, and they 'wine and dine' recruits as they all compete for the same students. The advisory interviews are a bit more selective than audit, but they are similar in structure. The Interview began with a 30-45 minute 'case' where I was given about 7 pages of information and had to read it and make insights (in a room by myself). My interviewer did not care too much about the case, but we talked about it at the end of the interview for about 3-5 minutes. Mainly it was a behavioral interview with a partner where he explained a lot about the job. It was a pretty easy interview where they were mainly trying to feel out my personality. This was the first interview of two, and I declined the follow-up.
