1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
This was a first round interview. I was offered the interview through typical on-campus recruiting, resume drop. I was expecting the interview to be entirely behavioral/fit. Turns out it was 100% technical. Pretty simple and classic questions about valuation ("walk me through a DCF"). Most of it was very high-level and conceptual. The only two application-type questions were about how changing beta would affect a DCF, and how I would go about performing a market comparables analysis of a hardware store that has $20mil in revenue.
