Interview
I first spoke to an HR recruiter who got a sense of whether or not I was relevant for the role. I then spoke to the research director based in Toronto. I met with the team in Canada and in the UK and met with some PMs based in the UK. My final interview involved a 1 hour presentation on a company they provided to me, I was given 4 days to work on it. The people were very nice, but ultimately I did not get the role because I did not have the requisite amount of experience they had wanted.
Interview Questions
I didn't get any question that I thought was particularly difficult or unexpected.

Background Check
Interview
Submitted an application to the company's website and was contacted about a week later by HR. Typical HR phone interview with basic background and why this company, etc.
Interview Questions
None of the questions were too too difficult. It's just another typical interview for the industry with the typical stock pitch etc. The company tries to focus a lot on hiring the right people with the same mindset and investing style. As long as people do their research and understand what the firm does, then the interview should not be a harder interview than most. Asked some markets questions as well as a stock pitch. Wanted to see what your investment thesis was and tried to push back on it and see if you really understood the company.
