Interview
I had applied with employee referrals in early 2023 for the 2024 summer analyst position and received a Hireview invitation shortly after the application was submitted. I then received an invitation for a superday. The superday was three rounds and split between situational/market-based/misc. interview, a behavioral round, and a technical round. Received an offer a few days after the superday. I would recommend doing many mock interviews in preparation for this process, as confidence and not being able to adapt to any question is critical.
Interview Questions
I was asked a mix of tell me about yourself, a "tell me about a time..." question related to teamwork, and a technical question about synergies. The superday was three rounds and split between situational/market-based/misc. interview, a behavioral round, and a technical round. Situational/market-based/misc. interview has questions on stock pitch, market trend, general corporate finance/CFO questions and what would you do in this work situation (i.e. your MD gives you more work but you are already backlogged, what do you do?). Behaviorals were typical strengths/weaknesses, why JPM, why finance, and tell me about a time questions. Technicals were surface level ranging from basic finance and accounting concepts to LBO (influenced by experience on resume, I had LBO experience on my resume and this was referenced in my interview).

Interview
Interview was incredibly rigorous and required a near complete understanding of the oil and gas industry. The superday was 3 hrs and they would dig into every subject as much as possible until you said you didn't know. It included a bunch of standard questions from the BIWS guide but then they would add several oil and gas specifics on top of that including modelling nuances and industry questions.
Interview Questions
If you could have dinner with 3 people who would they be?
Explain the difference between WTI and WCS oil.
How would the WACC of a company on a tornado bound island differ from a typical WACC

First round is Hirevue followed by a 1:1 phone call with an analyst. Mostly markets questions and why Wealth Management. Received an email a few days later for a Superday. Superday consisted of 4 interviews (2:1); mostly behavioral mixed with technical questions of concepts (diversification, if you had $1M what would you invest in). The highest level of the employees I met with were VPs.
Interview Questions
If you had to explain why diversifying assets was important to a 5-year old, how would you explain it?

Interview
I was fast-tracked to the Assessment centre after J.P. Morgans 2023 spring week programme (London). We had to do an AC which comprised of 3x30 minutes interviews with 3 different desk, interviews were conducted by VP-MD. The questions asked were mainly motivational and behavioural, with an average of 2-3 market based questions per interviewer. Not many questions regarding Why J.P.M as we were all from the Spring week programme, overall process was very smooth the interviewing process was very tough as there was an extremely low conversion rate.
Interview Questions
Tell me about a mistake you made and a life lesson/lesson you learnt from that mistake
How to value option pricing and bond pricing
What makes you stand out against your competitors/ what have you done that no one else could do

Interview
I applied online and in a few weeks was asked to set up a phone interview. Had the phone interview with an analyst that went half an hour to 45 minutes. Basic behavioral questions and some technicals (walkthrough financial statements, ratios, valuation techniques).

About a week after the phone interview I got invited to a superday. Six interviews with either one or two analysts/director. Mostly behavioral questions with a few interviews quizzing on technicals. Behavioral questions were things about the job hours, your interest in the sector, your interest in ER, and others like that. Technical questions were mostly on simple valuation and accounting topics. Most of the time consisted of talking about your experience and work with coverage area.

Thought everything went well, but I did not receive an offer. The process took about two months from applying to my last contact with the group.
Interview Questions
Tell me about a deal you worked on in the summer and how you contributed? What were the comps like? What were the sources of funds? (Round 4)

Interview
Vigilant is basically a private event-driven hedge fund who also outsources its technology to other funds, and I learned about their activities from a friend who interned there. So I applied online and got one interview about a month later. The interview was at Vigilant's office in downtown Montreal and it was with 2 people: one HR and one manager of the market team. They started off with behavioural questions (eg. walkthrough your resume, what are your strengths, tell me about this experience on your CV..) then quickly jumped into market-related questions such as: what's your view on gold, what's your view on US economic recovery in the next 20 months, which event have you been following and what trades did you think about. The interviewers were very nice and gave their own opinions about the market. I had a good feeling about it. The entire interview lasted 30 minutes and I was told that they would get back to me, which they never did even after I followed up with them. So that left me with a bad impression of this company.

Interview
This was a fairly standard interview process as far as BB Trading interviews go. I did an on-campus interview first and was then invited to participate in a super day. The super day was standard as well with 4 interviews over the course of 2 hours. The interviewers were incredibly personable and really tested all aspects of finance knowledge. One interviewer focused on quantitative questions and brain teasers, while another discussed macroeconomics for the full interview length.
Interview Questions

It was a hirevue. Got asked mostly behaviourals. Questions like what would you do in specific situations, a time you worked in a team, a time you had to solve a complex problem.

Furthermore, you should come prepare for analysis on current market events. Pretty chill
