Interview
The interview process consisted of 3 rounds. First, there was a phone interview with the recruiter. She was very kind and kept the conversation lighthearted. Basic questions like why KeyBank, past experiences, and how you would fit into the group you want to be in. The second was a technical/behavioral group interview with analysts and associates of the group you are interested in. Mostly technical, asked about different metrics and topics in commercial real estate with a few behavioral questions. Last, there was an interview with the MD/RM of the group who really pushed technicals on you. This a great opportunity to meet with senior managers and learn about their experiences in the industry. Overall, an enjoyable process that took about 4 weeks, average difficulty.

The phone screening was straight forward with information on what the company does in the loan servicing department. The in person interview was conversational. Most of the discussion was about previous experiences and how well of a fit I could be on their team.

Interview
I applied online and was sent an email to set up a phone interview later that week, which ultimately lasted 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, i was invited to do a 2-1 interview in person and had to perform a sales pitch presentation about one of the company's financial products.
Interview Questions
The most difficult experience that I went through was when the interviewee asked me to tell her about some relevant experience pertaining to the position that i was applying for that I had that wasn't listed on my resume.
Another experience I had during the interview was when the interviewee asked me on three separate occasions if I had any additional questions for her. I had already gotten out most of my questions after the initial asking, so it became more difficult to think on the spot for more questions in the moment.

Interview
Interviewed for the Chicago office. Applied online through a friend's recommendation. Scheduled phone interview for the same week, which was entirely behavioral focused on why real estate. About two weeks later I was invited to a Super Day in the Cleveland office. Super Day consisted of three interviews: two behavioral, one was a presentation on a topic that was sent a few days prior. Receive my offer 2-3 weeks after.
Interview Questions
By far the most difficult part of the interview was the presentation. The prompt was sent a few days in advance. It focused on a type o low-income housing investment the bank was very proficient with. Preparing required researching on the topic, creating PowerPoint slides that answered the questions in the prompt and practicing to present. The interviewers were a senior manager and a trader and only asked a few broad questions to check the research at the end of the presentations. Very friendly, clearly wanted to make me comfortable presenting.
