Investment Analyst Intern

The head of the firm is a graduate of my school so he recruits one intern every year to begin in the spring and work for nine months. The internship is to assist in any research, modeling, and analysis their associates/analysts require of you. I have been told by a family friend of the president that the internship is kind of a bitch job though and you don't actually get too many learning opportunities.

The interview process is one phone interview and then one interview in their office that is just one on one. Neither were particularly difficult. Compensation I believe is about $10-12 an hour. It should be noted that they don't have much of a history of hiring their interns after graduation.
