What did the interview consist of?

1 on 1 Interview

Please describe the interview / hiring process.

2 rounds:
1st round - 2 interviews each consisting of a case and and a behavioral interview with Associates and EMs
2nd round - 3-4 interviews each consisting of a case and and a behavioral interview with APs & Partners

Case is always more structured than other firms - e.g., They will have 6 distinct questions to lead you through the case vs having you lead your way through the case

Behavioral is one question that revolves around the dimensions McKinsey looks for e.g., Leadership, entrepreneurship

They are fast to make a decision (often same day) and give really really good feedback. When I got through first rounds the interviewers gave me 3 mock interviews before my final round to make sure I was ready.
