Sophomore Diversity Leadership Intern

After the initial application, I was contacted for a first round interview in my local office. Mckinsey also paired me with a "buddy" - a consultant from Mckinsey who helped me prepare for my interviews. Before the interview, the Problem solving test was adminestered on-campus. The first round consisted of two interviews that focused on both fit questions and a case.

Following this, I was invited to the New York office (which was the office I applied to) for the final round. Here, I had interviews with 3 different consultants at different levels (EM, Associate, and Director) and the interviews were again similar - fit questions and case questions. The work culture seemed great to me in the NY office - the BAs had a room where they all worked and the atmosphere in there was very friendly. While I waited between interviews, many of the BAs came to talk to me and I thought that was really nice.
