Summer Analyst

I got the interview at McK in an EMEA office via an employee referral from a peer. I was contacted by an associate from the office who asked me a number of fit questions including future plans, strengths, weaknesses, why low GPA, why McKinsey, why not IBD (since my profile was slightly finance oriented at the time). Seemed very concerned on two points - GPA, and finance tilt. The interview was smooth, and while I expected at least one case to be asked, none were. But I did not get the offer on the grounds that they felt I could not be retained after the internship.
