I had a brief but informative phone screening with a recruiter to kick off the hiring process. We had a productive discussion about my background and how it aligned with the role, and the recruiter provided a clear overview of what the full interview process would entail.

However, a key qualification came up: the need for securities licenses. The recruiter was transparent in letting me know that they are looking for registered associates. They were helpful in advising me to start the process of obtaining my licenses, making it clear that this was a necessary step to be considered a viable candidate for the position.

Therefore, I only had one screening via phone, and I had a pleasant experience, as the recruiter was friendly, but ultimately the role wasn't a fit.
