Spd was 3 rounds 1 assoc 1 vp 1 md and was mostly behaviorals with really easy techs as well (walk through dcf, simple accounting, basic ev/qv, did not have to walk through a deal or anything) got the call abt a week later

I think having a good why nomura answer is important + being confident with easy technicals

Interviewed over the phone with two people, I think one was an MD. My technicals were on the weaker side, and one of my interviewers kindly let me know - which scared me enough to start practicing. Superday interview was fun, employees were all kind to chat with and asking questions is one of my favorite things to get to understand the culture. Superday interview seemed to be more behaviorial, but it was important to be updated on the news. I recruited really late, so I only applied to this firm.

Walk me through a derivative: I think asking about an older activity on my resume - I had forgotten all about derivatives and could not BS my way through. However, I think I was a bit honest about it and they told me to brush up for the superday.

The process consisted of standard online assessments followed by CV submission. There may also have been a cover letter. After completing the assessments, I was invited to an online interview. This was a 30 minute call with an Associate and included a mix of behavioural and technical questions. In practice, after a brief introduction, approximately 25 minutes were spent on technicals. The difficulty level was reasonable and covered standard topics.

The assessment centre then comprised four 30 minute interviews and one individual case study lasting one hour. One of the interviews involved presenting my findings from the case study. Interviewers included a mix of Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, and Directors.

Overall, it was a positive experience.
