Phone Interview
1 on 1 Interview
Interview
Very straightforward hiring process consisting of two phone interviews and a one on one interview with who would eventually be my boss. Phone interviews consisted of mostly fit questions and skill level with the Microsoft Office Suite. There was little wait after each interview and was told whether I reached the next round or not a few days after each interview. Everyone one who I interviewed with was very personable and seemed to genuinely want to get to know me. When preparing for this interview, I would recommend having answers to fit questions down.

Background Check
Interview
This was a very quick interview process due to the number of people they were looking to hire in a short time frame. As long as you appeared confident and knowledgable, it was a phone call and then an interview over Skype. There were people who had in person interviews, but they were ones who weren't clear cut for the job. It was very easy and the background check took a week or so. There was no drug test and the interview was more of them selling the position. I do understand they have added 1 or 2 more rounds to the process since.
Interview Questions
Why do you feel your goals match closely with Oracle's goals for its employees? This question was more about your thought process with the job. It wasn't so much the answer you gave but your understand of the type of company Oracle is. They wanted to understand how you thought about Oracle's goals and would also add information. For instance, I said the goals of further education and experience in the industry, they said that your role could touch a variety of industries and how would this affect your performance?
How is your experience closely related to the job role and what would you bring to a team of experienced consultants? Oracle had a clear idea of who they were hiring for and were actually very flexible in the end of where you were placed. They wanted to make sure you had the right ideas about what the company was hiring you for and your skills were actually useful. Much of this had to do with culture and your expectations of the work you would do. They want to make sure they are hiring someone who understands there will be some grunt work but overall will be able to contribute to the team in a meaningful way.
