Then, One-EY test online (psychometric tests mixed with a few video interview questions. these were about why you're suited for the role, why EY, as well as a couple of situational questions [what would you do if your colleague on this project said xyz to the client...]).
Week or so passed - got the email invitation to in-person R1 case interviews at EY Canary Wharf.
2x case interviews, ~30m each, one with a manager and another at one level higher seniority. One after the other, maybe 5-10 minutes between them?
Highly structured, mathematical cases, with all info provided in paper slide deck.
Whilst specific questions were asked, interviewers did go off-track to gauge interest & industry knowledge a couple times during cases.
I didn't pass to final round. In the rejection email, the manager offered to have a call & give feedback. I took them up on this, and they spend c. 20mins going into good detail about where I could improve. Communications & interview details were clear, and HR professionals were responsive and open about the hiring process.
Very impressive offices as expected, warm yet impersonal interviewers (characteristic of EYPs process to "avoid bias"). Made me want to apply again next time.
Advice: be hot on case math. High levels of business acumen ideally required - my cases were on current, topical industries, based on real engagements completed by my interviewers. Seemed like a great place to work, despite their rep for sodomising you with CDDs.

Second Round: 2 one-to-one case study with Associates. First Case study was a financial analysis / cost optimisation. Second Case study was market sizing
