I applied for the role during the annual fall campus recruitment through a friend who was a manager at the firm. I received an invitation to interview soon after the deadline passed. I flew to Calgary and interviewed with a senior manager and partner. The interview with the senior manager was standard behavioral questions that he went through from a printed list. The meeting with the partner was casual and conversational and the focus was on personal career interests and aspirations. In total, both meetings took less than 40 minutes.
