Very straight forward and basic. Met with three principals on superday. Asked mainly fit questions and qualitative questions as well as my previous experiences. I did not have a strong real estate background so they wanted to make sure if I was actually into real estate or was just trying to land a job anywhere (this was 2011 and I was an NYU grad. The prospects weren't great).

Had a phone interview initially and was sent a case study to review with basic property, financials, market analysis, though strangely it wasn't really used during the actual interview process (I tried bringing it up, but noone was too interested). Not too technical at all essentially, they just wanted your insight on real estate markets and to see whether you actually want to pursue real estate.

Make SURE you sell you really want to be in real estate. That's the best advice I can give you, especially if you are going into the securitzations group...it will be very real estate intensive so for both yours as well as your colleagues' sake, be passionate about real estate.
