Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Mine began a little bit differently. I originally applied for a different position at Prudential for a finance role at corporate, when Pru came to Penn State for on campus recruiting my senior year of college. I made it to a second round interview, but ultimately they had a hiring freeze at the end of 2008. I kept in touch with the recruiter and kept applying online. Finally in the fall of 2009 while I was working at Chase Bank (in the interim), I had a phone interview with another recruiter from Prudential for the real estate analyst position I had applied for. She said she recommended me for a second round and was trying to schedule it. It was delayed until January of 2010, when I ultimately had an in person interview with 4 people. It was long (3+ hours), but not too tough. No specific technical questions since they knew I did not have real estate experience. A few days after the interview I received a case study which I completed, and within a week an offer was given. We have since changed how the interview process works, and generally the case studies are done either before or on-site on your interview day.
