Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Case interview followed with some behavioral. Quite standard case interviews – market sizing, go to market strategy etc.
Interview Questions
Nothing really unexpected. They asked for original insight which was okay if you've kept up with industry news. Otherwise it seemed like you had to have some knowledge of the specific industry that they represented or else you would have missed a lot of things. Other than that it was not too bad of an interview. Make sure you appear serious about the job and keep a straight face. Some interviewers were very serious and kind of expected you to be as well. Didn't want to appear too much like a friend.

Interview
We had dropped off our resumes at a career fair and online. After that, there was an automated process to sign up for on-campus interviews, then on-site interviews.
Interview Questions
There were a lot of case questions about what questions to ask a doctor for x, y, z. For example, this drug is meant to do A and you want to call a doctor to get his opinion on aspects of the drug that contributes to A. What questions will you ask? This completely threw me off base because I hadn't expected this in a case interview.

There were still normal case interview questions, as well as very random cases that tests your thought process completely and doesn't employ structures taught in normal case interview books.

Background Check
Interview
Started with OCR which was basic fit plus case interview. Case wasn't too difficult in terms of pharma cases. After that heard a week later that I moved on to final round which was difficult to schedule. Went through final round which consisted of 3 45 minute interviews (two of which were fit and case, 3rd with partner just fit). Everyone was really nice and welcoming. It took a while to get an answer on my final round but heard about 2 weeks later
Interview Questions
Nothing was too difficult. Just expect standard biopharma/med device cases. I guess the most unusual one was how would u value / price a new form of transportation. That was definitely a more interesting question, but besides that case all were pretty straightforward with some math/market sizing but mostly involved case strategy. Fit questions were pretty straightforward behaviorals - tell me about yourself, talk about a time you worked with a difficult individual etc. Might get asked where else are you interviewing etc

Interview
Applied online, got email for phone interview, which was a few fit questions and a case. Case was easy enough.
Interview Questions
I was asked to describe a situation that I was managed by someone younger or less experienced by me. They expected to see that life sciences consultants, who are usually coming with a PhD, can work under people that graduated straight from college but have worked with the firm for a few years. Also, be prepared to answer questions around what interesting trends are in the life sciences field. Do you follow any news on the biopharmaceutical, medical device, or diagnostic field. A good understanding of the industry is helpful.
