Associate

On campus company presentations, very crowded and not that interesting. First on campus interview was a 30 minute behavioral interview with someone within the team. Simple resume questions. Second/ final round interviews were in the office with a lot of people interviewing for various departments. Got sent a case (roughly 5 page document) explaining a certain industry 2 days before interview. The final rounds began by them giving a few written questions about the case. Then we got 45 minutes to prepare a few slides on sheets of paper to present the case based on the questions. Afterwards, the final rounds consisted of 3 interviews, of which 2 were behavioral/ experience and the 3rd was presenting the case presentation/ proposal (sitting down) to the 'client'. The interviewers were rather boring and 2 of the 3 were really not interesting to talk to - compared to other big firms I interviewed with. The interview day ended with a Q&A session with current Associates. Overall easy and the people are nice - got the opportunity to speak to several Associates who all seem fun. They all really enjoy the perks of consulting like miles and points etc.

Advice to candidates: Don't stress about the case part too much, its very well laid out and simple to follow, you really only need to read the case once and think about it for 15-30 mins before the interview day. The behavioral is important because the interviewers are not that interesting and I think this is where the weight is.
