Went through full-time recruiting process without having interned at Big 4 prior. Interviews consisted of a pre-interview reception the night before, an on campus interview with a Manager or higher, and then invited to a super day consisting of 3 - 5 interviews with Managers and above. Additionally, typically a pre-super day dinner and/or post-super day lunch depending on scheduling.

Any dinner/lunches/receptions should be viewed as an interview. There will be attendees from the company that subtly assess each candidate on how they interact with the group, how they conduct themselves in professional settings, are they interesting, etc. The actual interviews tend to be very behavioral based. I was never asked any "technical" questions with respect to auditing or accounting. I have heard of one interviewer asking a technical question, but more to see how well the interviewee responds to pressure. Overall the interview was to assess why you're interested in doing auditing, and why PwC vs. other Big 4 accounting firms.
