General Interview Information
Interview Details
2) Online test - There were 3 tests administered by SHL which was a verbal, math, and logic test (think shapes and patterns). In this particular office, there was another test (no doubt trying to screen out the non-native English speakers) which asked the candidate to prepare an email to the client and one to his boss, communicating that he had set up the meeting at such time and such location about such topics.
3) Superday -
A) They ask you to retake one of the SHL tests to confirm that you didn't cheat.
B) Morning group discussion about a potential acquisition. Various target companies and background information was provided and candidates were asked to simply discuss about which company would be the most appropriate to acquire.
C) A lunch session with the Partner and 2 managers, which was a very light-hearted discussion and Q&A about hobbies, how they came to work at PwC, and the partner asking us about our school life.
D) You're given a "twist" on the scenario, saying that the client could not raise enough funds from shareholders to finance the acquisition, therefore you would have to suggest another method of financing. This was a solo presentation made to the Partner and the manager. After that, it was a traditional interview with the Partner asking you why you chose to apply for PwC and in particular, Deals.
