Intern

I got started by chatting with a partner at an event on campus. We talked one-on-one about what the company wanted to achieve and the job role. He explained what I would do if I got the job. I took some online tests, and then I had another one-on-one chat, this time with a senior HR person. We talked about why I wanted the job and what I care about.

Finally, there was the last interview. I met a senior associate and a manager. They asked me some easy accounting questions, like about debt quality and working capital. They also wanted to know about my past jobs.

The people at the company were friendly and helpful. The office looked professional and everyone seemed to work together. The way they work is focused on both technical skills and how you get along with others.

For anyone else interviewing, my advice is to learn about the company and the job. When you talk with people, show why you're interested. Be ready for some technical questions and to talk about how you'd fit in.
