Project Team Specialist

Applied online for the position of Project Team Specialist within the Market Information Data Analytics group. The posting for the position stated two years experience in a similar role was required. I had exactly two years experience in a similar role with an ERP consulting firm.
Received an email roughly four weeks later from a recruiter to set up a time for a call to discuss my interests and background. The call went well, recruiter and I connected on the hard skills that the position required. At the end of the call the recruiter asked about my current salary and what my requirements would be. I was informed on the spot that even my current salary was out of range for the position with PwC and it was doubtful they could meet the requirement. We parted ways and a formal follow up email came two to three weeks later notifying me that I would not be continuing forward in my candidacy.
Overall nice recruiter, somewhat drawn out process when applying online, not a fit for me.
