Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The process was overall very straight forward. I applied through my University's (UMD) job database, and was then notified, a week later, that I was offered an interview. The 1st round of interviews consisted of a 1 on 1 interview with a senior manager or partner that lasted 45 minutes. This interview was almost all behavior based. 3 weeks later I was notified that I was selected for the second round of interviews. The second round of interviews consisted of 3, 1 on 1 interviews, with partners. Each one focused on separate aspects. From what I could tell one focused on technical skills, so they asked simple accounting questions and mostly spoke about my accounting grade. Another interview was mostly behavior based, so Im not entirely sure what specific aspect they wanted to "test". The last interview seemed to ask questions about why I applied, my future plans, and that sort of thing. Additionally, the second round of interviews is more of a super day. Which lasted a whole day and you will be should the office, meet several 1st year associates and time to network during lunch.
Two week later, I was sent an email informing me that I was not offered an internship.
