Technology Consulting Intern

Gave my resume to recruiter at my major-specific career fair. Was contacted that I had been selected for first round interviews on campus. This was just a 30 minute behavioral, typical questions, interviewer was very friendly and I knew him from previous contact (case competitions, recruiting events, etc.). Was selected for second round interviews in NYC (despite being for position in Philly, due to office renovations). Consisted of two 30 min behavioral interviews and one 30 min case interview. PwC does case interviews a bit differently than the other Big 4 in that they give you the case 48 hours in advance and then on the day of the interview, they give you 45 minutes to prepare a slide deck on paper and provide a list of general topics/questions to address. Then during the case interview, the interviewer in completely in character as a client and you are presenting to him/her. The presenter gives no feedback whatsoever, asks no questions, and as soon as the presentation ends, the interviewer leaves character and is not permitted to discuss anything regarding the case (almost as if it never happened). This always seemed strange to me (I had the same type of interview for their Elevate program last year). Anyway, did not receive an offer, not a single interviewer responded to my follow-up/thank you emails, and when I asked the recruiter how I could receive some feedback, I was told it is "against company policy" to give feedback on interviews but to try reaching out to my interviewers again if I had any non-feedback related questions. Overall not a very pleasant experience from the time I first had contact with PwC, freshman year.
