Interview Questions
Began with typical TMAY and walk me through your resume. Quickly moved to Why Tech? and talk about a trend or vertical you've been following. Lots of follow up questions about why I saw potential in this vertical, intersections or application to the AI heavy market, and specific company details within the vertical. Moved to questions about SaaS companies and how to value different business models. Technical questions were very much conceptual. Asked a lot about EV/EQv and fully diluted share counts with convertible bonds and ITM option calls. Also covered valuation technicals. Most were tech-specific and had no accounting or brain teasers, but also covered DCF, WACC, CoE, Beta, all conceptually and outside of the formulas.
