Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Interview process was very long but straightforward. It consisted of 9 rounds of 30 minute interviews. Only two of the interviews were technical. The majority of questions asked were situational judgment questions as the team wanted someone capable of being an effective team player and getting along well with the team. At this level of experience, academic credentials and past work experience do most of the talking and there is not much to lie about. As a result, it comes down to personality fit and eagerness. Overall, the interview process was easy, but Blackstone itself came across very corporate.
