The convenience of Gmail is available across all your gadgets. Gmail helps you stay organized by sorting your mail, important documents, and events. Gmail is a free online email service that provides users with sufficient storage for messages and provides the flexibility to search for specific messages/text. The Gmail program also automatically organizes related emails into a conversational thread.

Amongst the many Gmail features, event scheduling can be very useful. You can create an event on your Gmail. Fill in all the required details such as time, date, and venue. It also gives you the luxury of reminders of the event. You can customize your guest list and also choose who can view the whole list.

You can schedule a reminder to give your guests a notification about the event.

How to schedule an event in Gmail: Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Log in to your Gmail account.

Step 2: Click on the calendar icon on the top right corner just below the profile photo.

Step 3: Select your date of the event.

Step 4: An event tab will pop up.

Step 5: Add a title, by which the guests will know your event.

Step 6: Select a date and set the start and end duration of the event.

Step 7: Add location.

Step 8: You can also add a google meet video link for online access or an online event.

Step 9: Add description and details of the event. Explain what it is for and why one should be a part of it. Choose a simple language for a better understanding of the event to the guests.

Step 10: Add guests list from your google contacts or emails.

Step 11: You can customize the access given to the guests. This includes -- modify events, Invite others and see guest lists.

Step 12: Recheck your details and click save.

Step 13: An invitation will be sent to your calendar guest list informing them about your interesting event.

When you receive a mail about an event like a flight, comic show, or seminar, it's added to your calendar automatically. If you don't want events from Gmail on your calendar, you can change your Gmail settings or simply delete the event.

Note: Events from Gmail aren't available for accounts with location restrictions and Government accounts.
