Overall, this list looks pretty accurate, especially the Top 20 or so where must of us are familiar. Granted its a Vault list so there are always some weird exceptions going on (like KPMG being unranked last year.... pretty sure Vault just effed that up). A couple of snubs: Parthenon-EY (21) and Marakon (26). Do a LinkedIn search for their people - always come from top schools and they get great work. I would put Marakon in the running with LEK or ATK and they compete regularly with these firms. I would have put Parthenon with this group as well, not sure if the acquisition has had a negative effect on them though which could explain a drop in the rankings a la Strategy&.

 

If a high-prestige firm like KPMG (or in this year's case, EY's advisory practice) doesn't show up on the Top 50, it's likely because they didn't participate: Quality of Life scores make up 70% of a firm's Top 50 score, so even high-rollers can do poorly if they just don't take part.
