Alvarez & Marsal RX 2022 Reputation/Exits?

Curious to hear any updated thoughts on A&M Restructuring & Turnaround? Seems like most people are lifers which makes sense, but what if you're a junior employee? Curious to hear about exits or would leaving a firm like this not make any sense?

Everyone I had calls (5-7 analysts) went A2A, you just don’t see that in IB. Top brand name in RX Consulting meaning you get exposure to the largest bankruptcies. You make very solid money at the analyst level (less than IB but work easier hours and if you work more you get paid more based on the billables bonus model). At the Associate level, all the people who went to PE from IB now make maybe 20-40k more than you pre-tax, but work dog hours still. Meanwhile, you’re making low-mid 200 while working a relatively chill job. You can feasibly work your way up to the top.
