Anyone wish they went into finance?
I’m starting at a niche consulting firm after my T15 MBA. Can’t help but feel like the financial ceiling for finance folks is much higher than consultants.
How do you all feel about this. Comp is important for me. Disregarding IB, I’m starting to wonder if I made a mistake not pursuing things like CRE (development in particular).
At this point, it feels like I have to get lucky by joining a promising pre-IPO/acquisition start up to make real money.
Can't say what your boutique is like, but the income ceiling at MBB / T2s / B4s is all quite high. Partners make a ton
