Applied for one location, received interview for another

I applied for an MBB in a Tier 1 location (NY/Chi) with all the location points on my application for that location, and I also networked heavily for NY/Chi. However, I just received an interview invite for the MBB in a regional office location that I have never interacted with or networked with. Obviously happy to get an interview, but isn't this weird that I only put one location on my application and received an interview to a completely different regional office location?

Is this Bain? Had this happen to a friend but for Bain Texas

Do you have any thoughts as to why? This is odd. And yes it is Bain for me too.

Update: I don't remember if I checked that box tbh. But I just got an interview invite to the Tier 1 location (NY/Chi) and I still have a separate interview invite to the regional office location (both for Bain). This is weird; am I allowed to interview for both?
