BCG Casey - How to Prepare?
Hey Everyone - I have the BCG Online Case Component, BCG Casey coming up soon. I heard that it's 8 questions within 30 minutes and relatively difficult.
I haven't found anything that great about how best to prepare for it (outside of some pay walled options of doing a mock Casey for a not-so-affordable price.
If anyone has some resources of how to prepare, or what you used to prep, that'd be amazing!
They usually give you access to a practice case a couple days before your Casey interview.
Is the difficulty comparable to the Casey?
Depends on the person. I found the real case easier because I had a good idea of how to manage my time. The content was slightly more difficult.
I didn’t do much to prep other than typical case prep. The tricky part is that you can’t ask any questions for clarification, but this means that you have to read each section carefully and not second guess the direction you take. From what I remember my case was a typical m&a structure and essentially just tested my ability to apply a solid m&a framework and then calculate some basic multiples
