Thanks.

Anyone interview at these places, and know for sure?

Deloitte has case interviews for their strategy & operations analyst role. I am not sure about other analyst roles such as Business Technology Analyst roles that Deloitte runs, which isn't much of a strategy but more of an IT consulting role. IBM consulting also has some case questions, but more of a behavioral/ fit questions. IBM consulting isn't strategy consulting, but IT consulting. So, they ask you few case questions and many other questions such as your knowledge on technology, fit, personality, behavior, some technical questions, etc

generally same weight, i'd say so yes

cases are pretty similar, though from my experience big4 (i only interviewed with deloitte S&O of the big4) and ibm seemed to be more interviewer-driven (they asked more questions and guided more) than MBB and other strategy firms

but if you prepare for the "worst case," where you have to lead everything and are ready for that, you'll be able to handle a more interviewer-led one as well

Deloitte S&O's final round (at least for me) was just one 2 on 1 case interview. Nothing behavioral at at all. So once you get past the first round (which is one fit and one case), it's all about the case. This is different from other firms' superdays, where you'll tend to have a fit interview or fit questions before the cases.

Deloitte's cases, I found, were directed strongly by the interviewers. A good amount of graph interpretation and calculations, and you aren't really expected to "drive" the interview like you are sometimes at MBB, etc.

Anyone go through recruiting with PwC? I don't know why, but I was always thought that PwC was all behavioral.

BTW, are recruiting methods the same across different regions?
