Current Big 4 Post-Merger Integration Manager - What are my Exit Ops?
The pay is is great, but I'm over the travel and the shitty PMO work. Colleagues have mostly left for other firms, but I'd really love to get out of consulting and sleep in my bed every night/actually start using my brain.
The vast majority of my experience has been on the execution piece of the M&A lifecycle (target operating models, process design, project planning, etc.); I've done virtually no DD/synergies type of work at all.
Can anyone shed any light on what exit opportunities are/where people go from PMI roles? Thanks!
