Freshman at non-target LAC—How to prepare myself for MBB

I am a rising freshman at Smith College, considering double major in Philosophy and Statistics. MBB definitely is my goal. So far as I know, Smith isn't target school to many consulting firms, and a lot of alumni work at tier 2 companies, which makes my path to MBB even more difficult. How should I plan my first year at Smith? Is it possible to intern at consulting firms during my freshmen summer? If possible, how should I prepare for it (any skills required?)? I notice that McKinsey offers Diversity program to Yale and Harvard first year students. Are there any other freshmen diversity programs for women, for queer, or for international student? Thank u so much!!!
