FT offer timeline from an internship for re-recruiting
I realize this might sound silly, but I am genuinely unsure how this works.
If someone has an undergraduate internship at a T2 consulting shop for the summer and they receive a full time offer, what is the timeline to accept that offer?
You can't try and re-recruit while still having that offer on the table right? It is either take the offer or re-recruit right (target school for context)?
You definitely can re-recruit with an offer on the table. The timeline to accept your offer depends on the firm but probably at least two weeks. It can also depend on your OCR policy.
wouldn't the two weeks expire before any other firm would hand out interviews or offers?
It likely would expire, so you'd need to ask for an extension. I'm sure if you are at a T2, they will give you one.
