Has anyone heard of Radiology Partners?

Hello guys, as the title says - has anyone heard of / worked with these folks before? Seems like they have some VC backing / hired some ex Consultants although there has been some market chat that culture there isn't the best. Anyone can shed some light?

Have heard the name in the leveraged finance markets, sounds like a typical PE medical office roll-up strategy. Should go without saying that working in a private equity backed company isn't easy with a constant focus on cost cutting unless you're senior enough to be receiving equity incentives.

Timely article on the front page of Bloomberg today: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2020-05-20/private-equity-is-ru…

Interviewed with them last year (only a few phone screens). Agree with Hiit that it is basically a medical office roll-up strategy approach that a lot of firms in the HC space take (depends on vertical within HC, of course).

Cannot speak too much to the culture, but comp (for the role I interviewed for) was below market from what I recall based on my experience.

This company is struggling to attract radiologists now as there is a shortage nationally and physicians are more leery of working for PE backed companies (esp ones so highly levered). They will continue to try to buy up practices but new capital is much more expensive than anytime in last 10 yrs and their size now makes them harder to flip. Many of their bigger purchases of 5 yrs have lost radiologists due to people leaving the practice after their 5 yr buyout terms being met. Is hard to see how they succeed over next 3 yrs without a huge bolus of cash or buyout (neither seem likely)
